Dear Father,
I hope I never forget to tell you how much I love you and how grateful I am for everything you do for me, but I'm sure I don't tell you often enough. Although you have many other children, you manage to love us equally and give to each one without depriving another.
I want you to know I appreciate all the lessons you've taught me; like how to love my husband when he's not so lovable, how to correct the children without breaking their spirits and how to take care of myself so I will be healthy and emotionally fit to be a good wife, mother, daughter and friend.
Thank you for giving me wonderful children, a faithful and loving husband and the most loyal friends in the world.
Thank you for giving me the desires of my heart even when I didn't deserve them.
Father I'm grateful that you forgave me all the times I let you down and did things that broke your heart. By your example, I learned how to forgive and be forgiven.
Thank you for teaching me how to make honorable decisions and for protecting me when I made poor choices.
Father, thank you for giving me every single thing I need every day. I hope I will disappoint you less, demonstrate my love for you more often and, one day, be more like you in every way.
Thank you for giving me both a father and a foster father to love and care for me and for making them in your image.
Happy, happy Father's Day to you, Heavenly Father.
Love and prayers,
Grammy

Hi Grammy, This was lovely, although i do not see myself as particularly religious, as a father to two young daughters i do hope that god helps me look after and care for them as they deserve. Keeping them happy, healthy and safe. Thanks for writing, great as always. Please log in to respond to this comment.Hi, Samuel,I'm not religious either, I just love God. I know He helped me rear my two children, because I always prayed and asked Him to do so. I believe if you ask Him, this is definitely a request He will honor.Very best wishes as you continue being a wonderful father!GrammyPlease log in to respond to this comment.
